It’s that time of the year! Black Friday is by far my favorite time to buy electronics because this is when I can get the best deals on speakers, computers, monitors, televisions, etc.
Below you’ll see some of the best deals that I could find! Simply click or tap the products you want to see the deals for to quickly navigate to them.
The Vizio SB3651-F6 is a huge step up in audio quality for a very respectable price. The 5.1 system will be a huge quality improvement compared to either your Televisions internal speakers, or a cheaper 2 or 3 channel soundbar. If you want to get a feel for what surround sound can offer without comitting too much cash, this is a fantastic place to start.
The Sonos Beam is a great all-around soundbar that will increase the quality of any home theater system. Based on Sonos' extensive speaker exosystem, you can also expand the Beam over time with a sub or surround speakers. There are better budget options, but at Black Friday prices this is an extremely good unit to consider.
This JBL unit is a real sleeper hit when it comes to impressive soundbar systems. With the wireless subwoofer and 2 detachable battery-powered wireless satellite speakers, the JBL 9.1 unit is really trying something different than the competition. The battery-op speakers are a really clever solution.
If you're looking for a high-end soundbar that gives you the best experience possible short of just going to the theater, then this is the package for you. With a full suite of satellite speakers and dual subs and 4 upward-firing speakers for Dolby Atmos, this is the premium option for a premium experience.
This TCL option is one of the best deals in the 50+ inch range. For suffiner a slightly smaller diagonal, you get to shave several hundred dollars off at this tier, and the perfectly serviceable LED screen offers a great experience at this price point. A great upgrade from a small TV or a start home-theater screen. Built-in Roku is an impressive feature.
This 55in Sony X800H promises to serve up 4k iamges on a powerful and colorful panel that will be eye catching in any room. Thin and easily mountable, and with a slim frame that will allow you to pass this off as more of a design element than a standard garden-variety Television, the X800H can upgrade your home theater in an instant.
This LG Oled TV is a huge step up in visual fidelity, with that OLED panel presenting up amazing dolors and deep blacks that will put other panels to shame. You pay for that, but after all this is our high-end pick. For a 4k OLED panel, you pay a premium, but it's worth every penny to make anything you watch or any games you play really pop.
What's not to like about the price point and features of this little guy? If you want a portable projector, or if you just want a portable-projector price for a unit that will still throw up a huge screen wherever you want, then the Vankyo Leisure is a fantastic option. With serviceable resolution and brightness, this projector is a great place to start when it comes to video projecting.
This Optoma option promises to satisfy at a reasonable price range. The high 3600 lumen brightness should work in most normally lit living spaces (though me not be as punchy during the day), and the response time of 8.4 ms means you'll be able to get away with gaming on this unit without noticing any image lag.
This VAVA short-throw laser projector will wow you for several reasons. The image quality is top-tier, but at this price point it's about so much more than that. The short-throw gives you the ability to have a projector sized image in a small room, without having to mount anything on the ceiling or walls--the projector sits right below the screen. And the design of this projector is unobtrusive and has a soundbar built right in to offset some of that eye-water cost.

Amazon's all new Echo speaker is a cleverly designed little orb that allows you to pump music into any space in your house at an incredibly low price. The Echo Dot is even smaller and cheaper, but if you want a speaker that will sound good enough and also fill a room, one or two of these is a great budget option for getting that experience.
The Sonos Pedigre is somthing that we don't have to convince you of, and the Sonos One is a great first step into that exosystem. With expansion options out the wazoo (in the form of ther Sonos speakers), the Sonos One SL is a great way to either fill a room with high quality sound, or start building a whole-home audio system.
The Bose Home Speaker 500 is a clever device that takes a somewhat different approach to the smarthome world. It's designed not to face away on a shelf but to be front and center, with that clever LCD screen up front displaying album art. The Bose system has expansion options, too, making this a competitor to Sonos that really sets itself apart with that screen.
It's hard to go wrong with the Fire TV. It will make any TV a smart TV, and it will give you access to all the apps you want to stream. There aren't any bells and whisltes here, and at this price point we're not mad about it.
Roku has ocntinued to evolve and solidify it's role as an intersted alternative to options like Chromecast and Fire TV. With the high quality hardware and nice features like the headphone jack int he remote, the Roku just gives you a little more polished streaming experience compared to the Fire TVs bare-bones approach.
The Apple TV 4k brings all the polish and elegance of any Apple product to the TV experience, and if you're already bought into the Apple ecosystem with an iPhone and/or Macbook, then this option is a no-braner. You'll be able to stream anything you want from your other Apple devies with Airplay, while also using the Apple TV itself to download any streaming apps you want.
